Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Alpyne. Plain-English summaries appear in italics before dense sections , the full text controls, but you shouldn’t need a law degree to know what you agreed to.

1. The Service

Alpyne provides a software platform that connects to your and your clients’ business systems, conforms financial data, and provides reporting, forecasting, AI-assisted analysis, and practice-management tools. Alpyne, Inc. [verify entity] grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service per these terms.

2. Accounts & Your Team

You’re responsible for your account, your credentials, and the people you add. When you assign team members to clients, you control their access , configure it to match what your engagements permit. You represent that you have the authority (from your clients) to connect their systems and process their data through Alpyne. [Counsel: this authorization representation is important , the customer, not Alpyne, holds the client relationship.]

3. Trials, Subscriptions & Billing

Plain English: 30-day free trial; paid plans bill [monthly/annually , verify]; cancel anytime effective [end of billing period , verify]; no long-term contract.

[Counsel + finance: draft precisely per the verified pricing model , trial terms, card requirement, renewal, cancellation effect, refund policy (state honestly, even if “no refunds for partial periods”), price-change notice, taxes, late payment. 4. Your Data and Your Clients’ Data

Plain English: your data is yours. Your clients’ data is theirs. We get only the license needed to run the service for you.

As between you and Alpyne, you (and your clients, as applicable) own all data you connect or upload (“Customer Data”). You grant Alpyne a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and support the service. On termination, [state real export + deletion mechanics and timeline , verify with product]. 5. Acceptable Use

No unlawful use; no connecting systems you lack authorization for; no reverse engineering, scraping, or resale except as permitted; no using the service to build a competing product; no attempting to breach security. [Counsel: full AUP.]

6. Third-Party Systems

The service connects to third-party systems (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Stripe, and others). Those systems are governed by their own terms; Alpyne isn’t responsible for their availability, API changes, or data accuracy at the source. Plain English: if the source system’s data is wrong, the conformed data reflects the source.

7. AI Features (Sam)

Plain English: Sam is a copilot. Verify before you rely.

AI-generated outputs (answers, variance commentary, drafted analysis) are produced from your connected data but may contain errors and are provided for your professional review. AI outputs are not financial, accounting, tax, investment, or legal advice, and you , not Alpyne , remain responsible for all professional judgments and client deliverables. 8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
